I can’t think of a better way to kick off my first post in 2010 than with a ride report so here goes… I woke up this morning NOT wanting to ride but I knew that I had to (I forced myself). I was already an hour late to the meet at the Sidewalk Cafe in [...] It happens every year, Brooklyn’s West Indian Day parade. The biggest impressions one gets when attending the parade? First it’s the colors. ROYGBIV, every color in the spectrum, you’ll see them there. Then it’s the sounds, as Robert Nesta Marley OM said, “Brutalize me with music!” There was music coming from everywhere, and it [...] Since the majority of my recent posts have been me bitching and complaining, I thought I’d post up something positive… Another fun hot summertime motorcycle gathering. I was happy to see a few familiar faces from Suspects Unlimited as well as a bunch of other faces from different circles. For a blog that’s mainly focused on motorcycles and riding, I seem to be doing everything but. Funny how that works. I spent the day today showing my cousin around Brooklyn and Manhattan. I’ve been too busy to even think about continuing with the repairs on my leaky fuel tank so my bike’s still in pieces. [...] |
