I wish I were the type of person that just gets on their bike, bangs out a few thousand miles in one sitting and calls it a day, but alas, I’m not that person. I’m a gadget guy. Short ones, long ones, in between ones, it doesn’t matter as long as you’re out there with nothing but your bike, your gear, and the bare necessities. When I’m out on a road trip, the focus of the trip is the riding. Okay, I’d say 90% [...] Over the winter I was busy gathering parts (mostly consumables) to freshen up my bike and I’m happy to say that the last and final phase has just been completed! I’ve been waiting for winter to finally go away before I installed my new drivetrain which includes new front and rear sprockets and a new chain. [...] Drivers here in NYC are on another level.
